O is for Oklahoma

Daniel and I took a day trip to Oklahoma in November 2007 while living in Texas. First we visited Arbuckle Wilderness. We chose to drive my car through the safari rather than ride the bus. It was kind of freaky! Camels, zebras, ostriches, and donkeys were sticking their heads through our windows.

Next we went to Turner Falls. It is nestled below the famous Arbuckle Mountains and forms Honey Creek, which then cascades down a 77 foot fall to a natural swimming pool, making the majestic Turner Falls the largest waterfall in Oklahoma. Daniel went swimming but it was too cold for me!
