This was my second and last Glam Bag. I just don’t need a new make-up bag every month and the contents are pretty much all make-up, which I don’t wear. I like Birchbox better because they have a variety of stuff (face stuff, hair stuff, nail polish, food, etc.). Also, in my last review, I said my Glam Bag didn’t come with a description card, but this one did. Not sure if I missed it last time or if they just started sending one this month!
- Red, white, and black chevron make-up bag (love it!)
- the Balm cosmetics What’s Your Type? “the body builder” mascara
- mirenesse.com Lip Bomb Glossy Lacquer Stain
- Couture Color Pequi Oil Treatment
- be a bombshell Eye Liner
- Coastal Scents Eye Shadow
This was my first Glam Bag! I think I like Birchbox better but I will keep the Glam Bag subscription for a few more months to decide. I do wish it had a card with a description of all the samples on it like Birchbox does. Anyway, it came in a pretty pink bubble mailer. My bag for the month was a little black zip-up case, simple and cute. My favorite goody was the Circus by Andrea’s Choice Nail Color in Tightrope. So pretty! The others were just OK… A SOHO Smudge Brush, Carol’s Daughter Monoi Repairing Split End Sealer, and Mirabella Eye Color in Semiformal. I might save all these make-up samples and give them to my sister for Christmas!
I also got a $10 code for Just Fab, which I used to order a fab pair of shoes!
After reading someone else’s Glam Bag post, I realized that they had forgotten my Jane Sparkle Gloss! See, they do need description cards like Birchbox so you know you got everything! I wrote them and they send me the gloss, which arrived today.
