  2. Yes, we went into town and ate a restaurant called Blue Ginger. It was delicious. The town seemed perfectly safe and friendly. Not sure about live music, maybe ask on Tripadvisor forums.

  3. Okay…I thought we traveled a lot! We renovated hotels, but your travel is so….AMAZING :o)…Lucky you. I’m your newest follower. Have a great day.

  4. Hi Jen,
We read your review on Trip Advisor about your short stay in Bangkok…would you have felt comfortable staying at the Guest House for a couple of months, or would have looked further? We are researching places for my daughter to stay while she attends the University this summer at Chula. Thanks, and happy travels!

  5. Hi Jen. I found you through Monday Listicles, and I will be back. It looks like you’re a voracious reader like me. (I have a separate book blog, Marie’s Book Garden.) I taught English in Japan for three years just out of college, and also love to travel, so it looks like we have quite a bit in common!

  6. Hi Jen!

My name is Will Tang and I work for a travel tech start up called Find My Itin. We’re currently doing some research on how travelers plan trips. We’ve looked throughout TripAdvisor and identified you as someone that we’d like to hear from!

The survey should be pretty quick to fill out and we’re sure that you’ll have some valuable feedback.

If you’re interested, we would welcome your expertise.

    Many thanks,

  8. Hey Jen! Just saw your comment on my blog, but wasn’t able to respond because your email isn’t hooked up to your blog account. Where do you live? I’m in Raleigh! It was a blog conference called Blogger Boot Camp!
