I am “famous” for my cream cheese pinwheels. People always request them so I usually bring them to every party! Here’s the recipe: Combine 8 oz. sour cream, 8 oz. cream cheese (I use chive & onion), 1 cup shredded cheese, and some diced green onions. Spread mixture over tortillas (usually about 5 or 6). Roll each tortilla up, cover in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for an hour or so. Then unwrap and slice into sections. Discard (i.e. eat) the not-so-pretty “ends” of the tortillas.
My go-to holiday dessert is cheesecake Christmas trees. Recipe: Cut a cheesecake into wedges. (Depending on how many you need, the trees will be fatter or skinnier. Between 8 and 16 wedges is best.) Break off the straight part of mini candy canes and insert into the cheesecake wedges to make trunks. Cover the tops of the wedges with chocolate fudge shell coating. Freeze for 5 minutes, then finish by making a zigzag design on each tree with green icing and adding a red M&M to the top. Freeze for 1-8 hours and let stand 15 minutes before serving.
