Movie Review: Lawless

I love Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy so seeing this film was a no-brainer.

From Rotten Tomatoes: Lawless is the true story of the infamous Bondurant Brothers: bootlegging siblings who made a run for the American Dream in Prohibition-era Virginia. In this epic gangster tale, inspired by true-life tales of author Matt Bondurant’s family in his novel “The Wettest County in the World”, the loyalty of three brothers is put to the test against the backdrop of the nation’s most notorious crime wave.

Rotten Tomatoes rating: 67%
Mountain Xpress rating: 3.5 stars

Verdict: 4 out of 5 stars. Like I said, I love the two main actors and I love westerns. My main complaint was Tom Hardy’s horrible accent in the movie… He sounded like Buffalo Bill from The Silence of the Lambs! Other than that, it was an overall good movie with a happy ending.
