Friday I went to see The Host. I enjoyed it because I had just finished the book. But if you haven’t read it, I wouldn’t recommend the movie. It would seem really dumb!
Saturday I went to Asheville with my friend Anna who was visiting from NYC. We met Adrienne at Mela for their lunch buffet.
Yesterday was Easter! I made carrot cupcakes and had lunch with my family.

I can’t think of one favorite singer/band. Nelly is coming to mind though…

My friend Christian who died when we were in high school.
5. Where did you want to live when you were growing up?
In Miami where my mom was from. I thought it would have been much more exciting than the small town of Saluda, NC where I grew up.

Well I know about tarantulas since I’ve had one for over ten years… One of their defense mechanisms is to shoot hairs out of their abdomen that makes your skin itch for days. You can’t wash it off!!

Late 60s/early 70s because it seems like an interesting and fun time period!
8. What is the most interesting job you have ever had?
I worked at a private investigation company for two years. It wasn’t that interesting because we investigated insurance fraud but there were some cool cases.

Eventually yes. I don’t have an e-reader or read e-books as of now but I guess I will have to one day!

I think everyone learns best by experiencing! I learn better by reading than listening though.

I have never had that problem and doubt I ever will. I am not picky about my hair.

Potato salad!
Saw the movie The Host today… Not as good as the book, but I could see how it would be difficult to make into a film. I enjoyed it, but wouldn’t recommend it for those who haven’t read the book! It would seem silly and cheesy.
Friday I worked and Ruth and Baby Klay came over for taco night.
Saturday I met Adrienne for lunch at Chili’s and then we went shopping at Old Navy, Target, Michael’s, and World Market.
Then I met Cindy to see the movie Stoker. It was weird and creepy, but good!
Next I met Ruth, Michael, and Baby Klay for dinner at Papa’s & Beer.
Yesterday my mom and I went to Franklin, NC to visit my Aunt Laura and Uncle Jim (they have a cabin there but live in Florida). I made enchiladas and we played Scrabble. They don’t have internet or cell phone service there so I caught up on my reading too.
