I turn 30 this summer so this is a list of things I want to do in the next year!

  1. Throw my stepsister a baby shower
  2. Visit every brewery in WNC (Highland Brewing Company 8/15/12, Lexington Avenue Brewery 8/29/12, Southern Appalachian Brewery 10/12/12, Green Man Brewery 12/8/12, Wicked Weed Brewing 3/7/13)
  3. Read (and review) 100+ books
  4. Make As in all my classes
  5. Participate verbally more in my classes
  6. Go to the NC Zoo in Asheboro
  7. Start a local travel blog
  8. Learn Spanish
  9. Learn how to use a gun
  10. Join a gym
  11. Join the Saluda Fire & Rescue Auxiliary
  12. Volunteer at Henderson County Public Library (Didn’t need to because I got a librarian job!)
  13. Volunteer with the Preschool Outreach Program at Buncombe County Public Library
  14. Get a tattoo
  15. Dip-dye my hair purple (I got purple highlights instead!)
  16. Have monthly Pinterest parties (August, September, October, November, December, January)
  17. Have a Favorite Things party
  18. See Unto These Hills in Cherokee
  19. Buy a new computer
  20. Paint and decorate my bedroom
  21. Exercise and eat healthy
  22. Join a book club (August, October, December, December, February, March)
  23. Get a summer internship at a major library (Didn’t need to because I got a librarian job!)
  24. Take a cake decorating class
  25. Donate to charity (Make a Stand Lemonade, Komen Race for the Cure, Cancer Research UK, Toys for Tots, Somaly Mam Foundation, Amazima Ministries, Animal Compassion Network, Pint Night with Oskar Blues Fundraiser)
  26. Eat five things I’ve never tried before
  27. Watch (and review) 26 movies I’ve never seen starting with each letter of the alphabet
  28. Watch (and review) 10 classic movies I’ve never seen
  29. Go to a comedy show
  30. Buy/make a “Where I’ve Been” map and hang it on my bedroom wall
  31. Attend a book signing
